The following are a series of essays that I am writing in response to events of the day -- and particularly to the views of others that I find in contradiction to the truth as I know it. These views are my own. I am not on any political mailing lists, nor do I subscribe to any newsletters on these topics. I hunt and peck to find information and don't want it spoon-fed to me.
